Comments (1)We are doing process modeling work with BPMN in the area of integrated offshore operations (IO). These processes involve lots of collaborative sessions with participants both onshore and offshore; supported by a shared IT infrastructure and collaboration tools with shared video and audio feeds.
Sometimes it is useful to pinpoint shared information artefacts; in other settings it is useful to just indicate that “there is information sharing” – cfr. the figure below:
We also often need to group together the various activities that are part of a collaborative session; something we currently propose to do like this:
I would like comments / a discussion regarding these conventions. To what extent is information sharing and collaboration covered by the BPMN2.0 proposals?
